
Christin Edward is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Houston Baptist University in 2011. Christin went on to practice nursing at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in the medical intensive care unit. She was a member of the bioethics committee during her employment, and is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing honor society. In 2015, she graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with her Masters of Science in Nursing. She also obtained a Post-Masters Certification in Emergency/Trauma Medicine through UTHSC.
Christin’s practice philosophy is to provide care across the continuum of health to enable pediatric and adult patients to achieve and maintain health and wellness. She works to build a trusting relationship with each patient during every encounter. This allows patients to feel valued and respected as they work together to promote lasting health.
Christin resides with her husband in Manvel, Texas. She is originally from Pennsylvania, and lived in India for several years as a child. Her global travels have provided her with a unique vantage point from which to provide culturally sensitive care to those in need.
